Building Stories, Serving Communities: My Evolution as a Journalist

From a very young age, journalism was more than an interest—it was a calling. I grew up fascinated by storytelling and motivated by a genuine desire to serve my community through clear, honest, and engaging communication.

My career began in Colombia with RCN Radio, where I produced live programming, conducted interviews, and experienced the energy of a real newsroom for the first time. Those formative years taught me the discipline, responsibility, and integrity essential to journalism. Later, my work with Park City Television allowed me to expand into visual storytelling, producing original content and managing full-cycle video production for local audiences.

Across both roles, I strengthened my ability to inform, connect, and build long-term relationships with listeners, viewers, partners, and community stakeholders.

My academic path reflects the same commitment. I hold professional studies in Journalism and Social Communication, complemented by specialized training in copyediting, marketing, digital communication, and graphic design. This combination of newsroom experience and continuous learning has enabled me to evolve with the industry and embrace new ways to reach audiences.

Today, my work blends journalism with modern production techniques—integrating photography, video editing, digital media tools, and narrative design for social platforms and print. What has never changed is my passion: to communicate with purpose, to tell stories that matter, and to contribute positively to the communities I serve.
